From St. John's, Heather Kao is the concertmaster of the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra and 1st violinist of the Atlantic String Quartet. She received her B. Mus in violin performance at Memorial University, and has been active as a performer and teacher. Skilled in multiple genres, she is in demand as a guest musician across the province for recordings and performances including productions with Kittiwake Ballet, Opera on the Avalon, Shallaway Youth Choir, and Lady Cove. She is excited to be back for the fourth season of Come From Away in Gander.
