Romano Di Nillo, a Native Newfoundlander, and original member of Broadway's Come From Away, holds degrees from MUN and McGill. With a rich freelancing history, he's performed with the Canadian Opera Company, Toronto Symphony, K-W Symphony, Evergreen Gamelan, and earned a Dora award nomination for composition in BOXHEAD. Romano's drum set playing powered the national tour of Wicked, spanning 2600+ North American shows. With CFA he also appeared in the Toronto company, the national tour, and in Madrid, Spain and is delighted to be in Gander playing with his wife, Christa! Today, he collaborates with artists like The Bookends and Loreena McKennitt, while crafting music for short films.
